Menus are groups of Pages that get displayed as website menus. Menus that are not placed on a page can be used to organize your Pages.

"Default" is the menu area that displays across the top and bottom of ready-made Aurora templates.

To create a new menu, click the Add Item button.

  • Display Name: The text that will be displayed when this Menu Item is placed inside a Menu.
  • CSS ID: Apply an optional CSS ID, allowing this Menu Item to be styled inside your Template CSS.
  • CSS Class: Apply an optional CSS Class, allowing this Menu Item to be styled inside your Template CSS.
  • Advanced HTML: Additional HTML to be rendered along with the Menu Item, when placed inside a Menu. For advanced users only!

Menus are also great ways of organizing content that you might not intend to display on a page. For instance, you may want to create a menu named "Newsletters" to hold your newsletter pages. As long as you do not include the Newsletters Menu on the HTML of your Design Template, it will not display on your pages.
